Q & A

  • What is the difference between gold plated and gold filled?
    • When sourcing out findings (the metal components of our jewlery), I look for gold filled over gold plated due to the thicker nature of the gold covering over the based metal.
    • Gold plated jewlery will often be slightly cheaper as this tends to have a thinner covering. The quality is still great, however I do not suggest swimming nor sweating in these pieces.
    • The base metal will most often be sterling silver or stainless steel to protect against any form of rust.
  • What if I resonate with the gem meaning, but don't love the color?
    • That's okay and an honest admission! We can consider a custom that includes both colors you resonate with and a stone that speaks to your needs.
